EXPERIENCE - CLIENT CASE STUDY

THE CHALLANGE

A Leading Global Corporate Finance firm headquartered in New York, NY, with its EMEA HQ in Blackrock Dublin, awarded TMI Globalstar the contract for all its EMEA entities after a stringent RFP process. A major factor influencing the choice of TMI was our ability to demonstrate our unique approach to account management and negotiation techniques with suppliers. The company were very keen to move to a mid-size TMC so that they would receive a customized and pro-active level's of service.

In addition, the company was not mandating the use and booking of Hotel's via it's existing TMC, therefore hotel spend visibility and company negotiated hotel rate's were limited or non existent.
THE SOLUTION

TMI successfully implemented 800 EMEA employees into the regional travel program within 60 days. The client's KPI's for the Six months after go-live were:

Educating Traveller's on booking patterns and behaviour

Re-negotiate all Air vendor agreements

Negotiate and Implement Supplier Contracts

Employee tracking for Corporate Responsibility

Data consolidation to US HQ

During 2006 and 2008 the company made several trade acquisitions which saw T&E increase dramatically, due to increased travel for M&A and increased head count. During this time, TMI further leveraged the company's buying power through strategic supplier negotiations.

During the middle of 2008 and through to 2010, as the Global Financial crisis hit, travel activity reduced by 25% to 35% on average, TMI quickly reacted to ensure all current supplier contracts remained in place for the client and achieved 96% success on its behalf resulting in ongoing saving achievements.
